The cake I made for our soon to be 8year old son. at 12noon I was unsure of what I was going to do with the cake and at 6 pm I had half an idea by 8:30 I was digging through the cupboards to see what I could use to make this cake!

Anyone Else ASK for a steel potato masher? Cause I did and I got one that you could use to start another person heart with!  Bring on the 20 lb bag of potatoes!

Yesterday I sent my children off to school at 8 am and it was 18degrees!  Tomorrow we leave for FLORIDA!

Making Rock Candy - 7 year old son thought it would be cool to make rock candy and now we wait!

This morning looking out my back door - the sun is about to rise and the clouds were just so neat to look at with a touch of night still on them.  I love clouds and from my yard (3 acres) and can pretty much see any sort anytime of day.  It is just cool to see how the sky can change and quickly.

I was trying to take a nice photo of our Christmas Stockings by the window but what came out was awesome.  As you can see it had been snowing and raining during the day.  But what makes this great is the fact that the inside tree lights can be seen in the window as if they are on the apple trees outside. Todays photo is a pretty cool one I have been tracking all month long. (see photos below) I travel down this one road to work every day and I have seen them a nd taken photos of them  melting into the wall.  Today they were covered in snow and almost gone! http://www.thoughtsnstuff.com

Here is D. showing me his Chineese New Year Dragon he made at pre-school.  In school he is learning about all sorts of celebrations not just Christmas or Chanukkah! So far this month we have covered Chineese New Year, Halloween, Valentines Day!  What a great way to celebrate all month long. I love his actions in the photos and his words too ~ just wished Video was apart of this challenge.
